Competitors may enter both the 3×3 and 5×5 Basketball Events.
No practice sessions will be arranged by Perth 2027 WPFG. Public shared courts are available for independent practice.
Teams are to provide their own practice ball for any practices prior to the competition.
Teams shall supply their own uniforms with unique numbers on their shirts. Shirts must be identical in colour. Each team must have two different coloured shirts available to compete in.
Teams shall be formed of a maximum 6 players and one non-playing coach.
Each team shall designate an individual to function as the team captain for each game.

format
COMPETITION FORMAT
Groups of 4 to 5 teams shall be established. The competition will be played in a round robin format followed by double elimination.
Each game shall be 1 stop clock period of 10 minutes. If a team scores 21 points before the end of this period, they win the game.
The competition will be played over 4 days from morning to afternoon.
awards
Medals are awarded to athletes placing first through third.
Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 21 March 2027 at the competition venue.
