Eligibility

The Games are open to current, retired and volunteer personnel from law enforcement and emergency services around the world.

Who can take part?

The World Police & Fire Games celebrates those who serve. If you’re 18 or over and have a background in law enforcement or emergency services, including unsworn staff and volunteers, you may be eligible to compete. Make sure you meet the service requirements and have the right documentation ready.

The Perth 2027 World Police & Fire Games welcomes competitors who are current, retired, or volunteer employees from law enforcement and emergency services agencies.

You must be at least 18 years old to compete.

All competitors need to provide proof of service to confirm eligibility.

Retired employees must have completed at least 10 years of service, left in good standing, and provide evidence of their service.

Volunteers need at least two years of service with an eligible agency.

The World Police & Fire Games Federation Eligibility Sub-Committee reviews eligibility.

Agencies or individuals can apply for eligibility consideration if needed.
