sport information
This is an amateur only tournament.
Golfers entering any WPFG Golfing Events must show proof of ID.
Please note there will not be separate scratch competition.
No guests or caddies may accompany golfers.
There will be 3 divisions for both the single and team events: Division A, Division B and Division C.
The specific handicap for each division will be determined at bracketing once the entries are received.
When competing in a Team Event, the team’s age division is the age division of its youngest team member.
Athletes can only compete in 1 age division. If an athlete is competing with a team member in a younger age division, they must play in this age division in the Singles Event as well.
All courses have driving, chipping and putting areas for limited practice use before each round commences.
Competitors can contact the club on the days prior to competition to enquire about full practice rounds (at their own expense).
Handicap information
Athletes must submit a current, verifiable Handicap in order to participate and must provide proof of their most recent 10 rounds/scores of competition results.
This can take the form of an R&A/USGA Index Number/handicap or the equivalent from their country, with their membership (GHIN) number or a copy of their Handicap card which verifies that Index Number.
WPFGF will stand a committee which reserves the right to adjust Index Numbers of golfers who have a history of scoring well below their Handicap, or for countries that do not have a rate/slope system.
The Handicap Review Committee can re-handicap any individual after the first and/or second day of play if their score is considered to not reflect their handicap/index.
Returning golfers from either or both of the past WPFG/USPFC will use their tournament handicap.
This Index will be established by the scores shot in one or both of the past WPFG/USPFC. If their current Index is lower, it will be used.
Entrants’ actual “LI” (Low Index), will be used unless adjusted by the “Handicap Review Committee”.
If entrant has two numbers from two different clubs the lowest must be used.
Event Entry Deadline: Sunday, 28 February 2027
Event Cost: $400 entry fee (course fee) + $20 per individual event
