sport information
Competitors must wear sports clothing permitted under the BWF’s Rules.
Athletes shall supply their own rackets which must comply with BWF standards.
Stringing services will be available on site.
Courts will be made available for practice at the Kingsway Indoor Stadium in the days prior to competition. Hire of these courts will be at the competitor’s own expense.

format
COMPETITION FORMAT
Groups of 4 to 5 teams shall be established to facilitate a round robin competition. The top two of each group will advance to the Single Elimination Finals.
Competitors must win 2 of 3 games to win the match. The first two games are played to 21 points. If a third is required, it is played to 15 points.
If the score reaches 20-20, play will continue until one competitor achieves a 2-point lead. If the score becomes 29-29, the side scoring the 30th point shall win that game.
Scoring is calculated through rally scoring, where a point is awarded on every rally regardless of who served.

Medals are awarded to athletes placing first through third for each division.
Awards ceremonies will take place following the final for each division. The ceremony will take place at the venue.

This venue is serviced by a dedicated WPFG Shuttle.
Use your free public transport to get to Greenwood Train Station.
From there multiple WPFG Shuttles will run throughout the day getting you to and from the Kingsway Sporting Complex.
