sport information

The Criterium will be held at Splendid Park on a purpose-built criterium circuit, offering a safe, technical, and spectator-friendly racing environment. The course is designed to challenge riders’ speed, cornering ability, and race tactics over multiple laps.

Each race will run for a duration of 35–45 minutes, depending on the category, followed by an additional three laps once the allotted time has elapsed.

Insurance Advisory and Assumption of Risk

Participation in cycling events carries an inherent risk of injury. All athletes are strongly advised to hold valid and adequate cycle racing–specific insurance appropriate to the nature and level of competition.

Athletes should carefully review the terms of any existing medical or travel insurance policy, as many travel insurance policies specifically exclude cycle racing events unless an additional cover option has been purchased.

In the absence of adequate insurance coverage, the athlete accepts sole responsibility for all costs and expenses arising from any cycling related injury or illness, including but not limited to medical treatment, hospitalisation, ambulance transport, rehabilitation, and any incidental or associated expenses, whether incurred before, during, or after competition.

Event Entry Deadline: Sunday, 28 February 2027
