sport information
Soccer competitors may enter both Outdoor Soccer and Futsal events where offered; however, if a scheduling conflict arises due to participation in both, the competitor must choose in which sport to compete. The Host will not modify game schedules to accommodate individual competitors or teams and will not provide refunds for entry fees in the event of such conflicts.
A MANDATORY team captain meeting will be conducted the day prior to the start of the competition. Each team SHALL have a representative at this meeting. All final team rosters must be submitted at this meeting.
Each team must consist of a minimum of 11 players and may include up to 24 players. Each team is permitted one non-playing coach. Only registered athletes and coaches who meet WPFG eligibility requirements will receive medals.
Equipment
Teams must provide their own numbered uniforms, including two sets of shirts in different colours. Shin guards are compulsory, and metal studs (cleats) are not permitted.

Dress of players shall be consistent with FIFA and WPFG rules.

format
Competition Format
The game shall consist of two 35-minute halves, with a 10-minute break between the halves during the round robin tournament and the preliminary rounds of the Single Elimination tournament. All Semi-Final and medal matches will be two 45-minute halves.
All teams entered into the WPFG Soccer event will play in one Round Robin tournament. Groups (from 4 to 5 teams) shall be established. After group play, the top four teams in each group advance to the single elimination finals tournament. The 5th place team in each pool will not advance into the single elimination tournament.
DIVISION A The top two teams that finish in their respective pools will advance to this Division
DIVISION B The teams that finish 3rd and 4th in their respective pools will advance to this Division.
There is free substitution during the game. (Players substituted off the field may be substituted back on the field.)

Medals are awarded to athletes placing first through third.
Awards ceremony will take place on the last day of competition, at the venue.

This venue is serviced by the Mount Claremont Precinct WPFG Shuttle.
Walk or use your free public transport to get to Elizabeth Quay Bus Station.
From there multiple WPFG Shuttles will run throughout the day getting you to and from Perth High Performance Centre (PHPC).
