COMPETITION FORMAT
Competitors shall ascend the stairs from the designated starting line and continue upward until crossing the designated finish line.
The Firefighter (FFG Elite) event will be the first event followed by the “Regular” event.
Competitors must check-in on the day of competition one-hour prior to the start of their category (e.g. FFG Elite or Regular). At this time, the competitors will be given their starting order.
Athletes competing in both categories will be allowed to complete their second run at the end of the Regular section to give themselves more time for recovery.
Scoring will calculate the elapsed time of each competitor. For individual divisions, the lowest score is calculated as the winner.
Team Scoring will aggregate the individual scores of each team member. The lowest combined score is calculated as the winner.
awards
Medals are awarded to athletes or teams placing first through third for each division.
Medal ceremonies will take place at the conclusion of the each day of the event, at the competition venue.
