Teams will use a ‘Tug of War’ rope to pull a fire truck (~13 tonnes) along a bitumen road for 50 meters, alongside another team pulling a second truck.

Teams will then swap sides and pull the other truck.

Teams will complete two timed runs, and their cumulative times from both runs will determine the top seeded teams.

Scoring will calculate the teams with the 8 lowest cumulative elapsed times. These 8 teams will then be seeded.

Seeded Bracketing will be arranged through a number drawn system. The team with the lowest cumulative elapsed time of each bracket will proceed, the other team will be eliminated.
