Your time, skills and enthusiasm will help deliver an unforgettable experience for competitors, spectators and the global frontline and emergency services community.
From photography, to sports, to interpreters, we’ve got a range of roles to meet all interests.
Locations are divided by precincts including Perth CBD, Joondalup, Scarborough, Mount Claremont, Stirling, Whiteman Park, Champion Lakes and more. See Sports Schedule.

Be hands‑on in transforming venues into world‑class competition spaces by supporting bump in, setup and pack down before and after events, working as part of a fast‑paced team.
Be the welcoming first point of contact for athletes and officials by issuing accreditation, checking details, and helping ensure safe and seamless access across the Games.
Get right into the action by supporting Sports Coordinators with competition operations, athlete check‑ins, and equipment tasks that help events run smoothly and on time.
Play a vital role in moving athletes, officials, and equipment safely and efficiently between venues while delivering friendly, professional service along the way.
Help capture and share the story of the Games by supporting media operations, content creation, and digital communications that reach audiences around the world.
Be the friendly face of the Games by welcoming spectators, providing directions and information, and helping create an exciting, safe, and enjoyable venue atmosphere.
Support international athletes and officials by assisting with language interpretation and cultural understanding, helping everyone feel welcome, included, and understood.
Support the technical backbone of the Games by assisting with set up of IT equipment at venues along with basic troubleshooting to help ensure competitions run fairly and accurately.
Support and care for the volunteer workforce by helping run the Volunteer Hub, assisting with check‑ins, uniforms, meals, and creating a welcoming base for volunteers each day.
Help celebrate athlete achievements by supporting medal ceremonies and ensuring competition results are accurately recorded, verified, and published on time.
Deliver a warm first impression of the Games by welcoming athletes and officials at the airport and assisting with directions, information, and general enquiries.

A welcoming and supportive experience
From your first shift to your final day, you’ll be supported with training, clear communication, and on‑site guidance to help you feel confident and prepared in your role.
Recognition and appreciation
All volunteers will receive an official volunteer uniform and be recognised for their contribution through thank‑you communications and a certificate of participation to commemorate your involvement.
Meals, refreshments, and breaks
Volunteers will be provided with appropriate meals or refreshments during shifts, along with access to the Volunteer Hub as a space to rest, connect, and recharge.
